Hello and welcome!
Dreaming for the sake of dreaming has an importance that many people fail to acknowledge today. It can help us recall the child in all of us that perhaps the world has made us forget. My goal is to create art that does just that. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
My work.
I enjoy seeking out the seemingly mundane moments of humanity and highlighting the joy that can be found there. Through illustrations both lively and cheerful as well as calming and heartwarming, I hope to clearly portray my passion for simple yet profound and healing storytelling.
I have particular career interests in children’s book illustration and character design, in addition to creating theatrical art through performance sketches, scenic design, and prop work.
Being located in New York City, my subject interests largely revolve around its people and urban landscape by capturing the day-to-day moments, the magic of the Broadway community, and the quiet escape of Central Park. A constant and welcome challenge is portraying the city’s seamless melding of being both thunderous and serene, chaotic and tranquil, architectural and lush.
I am open to all mediums but largely work in ink, watercolor, gouache, and digital.
